Commercial use is all other uses, most often is using the font by a company or a freelancer.

Webfont means embedding a font file in a website, application, ebook, software ...( for example @fontface for a website ).
Font embedding means including the font file ( .otf, .ttf, .woff … ) directly in a document.
This is mainly used for web pages with the CSS code @font-face in styles.css, which allows to embed and display the font file directly in a website.
Embedding the font file is not allowed with the Standard commercial license and the Extended commercial license Type 1. However it is possible to use images ( jpg, png, svg … ), animations, videos, or other graphic products created with the font to display on a website, application, software or an ebook.
The commercial license never expires.
No further payment is required once the commercial license is purchased.
Yes, it's possible to upgrade a purchased commercial license ( for example for Webfont use or for more users ). You will just have to pay the difference.

The company size restriction is applicable when purchasing the commercial license.
There is no need to upgrade a commercial license if the company exceed the restriction in the future.

All my fonts available for download for personal use are the complete version of the font.
There are no restricted versions with missing glyphs or complete versions.
You will receive the Web version of the font with a Webfont license.
