Webfont means embedding a font file in a website, application, ebook, software ...( for example @fontface for a website ).
Font embedding means including the font file ( .otf, .ttf, .woff … ) directly in a document.
This is mainly used for web pages with the CSS code @font-face in styles.css, which allows to embed and display the font file directly in a website.
The Standard License does not permit font file embedding. However it is possible to use images ( jpg, png, svg … ), animations, videos, or other graphic products created with the font to display on a website, application, software or an ebook.
